School Choir At the beginning of each year, Year 4, 5 and 6 children who love to sing, are encouraged to audition for the Hillsborough School Choir. Practices are held each week as the children work towards two major performances: i) The Auckland Primary Principals' Association Music Festival held in the Auckland Town Hall - a formal evening where the very best of instrumental and choral music is showcased. ii) The World Vision 'Kids for Kids' show with entertainer Suzanne Prentice - a more informal, light-hearted night. The choir also performs at school assemblies, in school productions and at other functions as required. The children have to work hard learning music and lyrics but we aim to make it a rewarding and fun experience. Choir Trainer: Coralie McIntyre-Robinson | |
